He got his start on YouTube by making videos about the digital card game Hearthstone. Personal life
Wang was born in Taiwan, but his family moved to Penang, Malaysia before he was one year old. Wang’s older brother later moved to Canada to attend university, with the rest of his family later. Moved, settled in Kingston, Ontario. After initially majoring in computer science, he earned a 3-year degree in mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
Name
Wang’s username is a reference to a hearth card, SI:7 agent. When played in-game, the voice line for the card reads “This Boy’s Toast”. Comedian Conan O’Brien called it “the greatest name in gaming history”.

Earnings as a Twitch Streamer
After its deal with Facebook Gaming, Disguised Toast no longer regularly streams on Twitch. However, in a YouTube video released sometime in 2019, he revealed that he made around $14k per month from his 4k subscribers.
However, in the months leading up to the switch from Twitch to Facebook Gaming, he averaged around 5k to 6k subscribers a month. This will net him around $17.5k to $21k per month, and $210k to $252k per year. It is estimated from that information that he provided himself, which would have earned him around $168k a year.
Disguised toast YouTube career
Toast created his YouTube channel on April 7, 2015. He used his channel to upload information videos and clips about Hearthstone, as well as guides to help other players. He claimed that he was not the best at the game, but his knowledge and skill proved useful when teaching other players tips and tricks for the game.
