Erin Allier Moriarty (born June 24, 1994) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Annie Jan / Starlight in the Amazon Prime Video series The Boys (2019–present), which is based on the comic book series of the same name. Prior to The Boys, she had notable roles in Netflix’s Jessica Jones (2015), HBO’s True Detective (2014), and ABC’s Red Widow (2013). Early life

Moriarty was born and raised in New York City. She began acting at the age of 11, starring as Annie in Annie’s 2005 community theater production. Upon graduating from high school, she avoided attending college to pursue acting.

Acting career

Moriarty was featured in her first professional roles as a teenager, starring in the television series One Life to Live and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
